I enjoy facilitating healing.
I do not claim to be a healer. What the creator put in your body is the healer. If soft tissue or energy is an issue keeping you from optimum health I can help facilitate balance in that area. If something further is the cause, then I'll let you know if I think another health professional might be able to serve you better.

If your mental and emotional state prevent relaxation, I'll use techniques to help your central nervous system calm, and balance in order to proceed with the massage. Everything in our physical body started as a thought. Mind-body connection is very strong and important to healing.
I am not a counselor and do not ask for details. I respect your privacy. But I can tell when you need to calm your brain/emotions to create space for physical healing and will encourage you in doing so if it is needed. Eh hem...we all need this...even me. Example: "Ok, try and calm your thoughts. Breathe. Right now, you are safe. Right now, you cannot solve that issue. Right now, is for you to receive kindness and healing. When you are in a calmer place, whatever is on your mind may seem a lot smaller and easier to handle."

Neuro Emotional Re-timing and Autonomic Balancing
These techniques are used to balance emotion and energy associated with tissue dysfunction. Okay...brace yourself. When manual therapists start talking about mind-spirit-body connection, things can start sounding weird. Or, if you are someone who realizes this connection--GREAT! Then things will start sounding super encouraging! When this was first presented to me I thought it was BANANAS! However, I saw how these techniques answered the "what was that?" or "why wont this budge or warm up?" questions I had about strange tissue issues. Having employed these techniques to those areas that typical manual work doesn't affect, and seeing change, has validated the emotional/spiritual/energetic connections to tissue dysfunction. Is it a placebo effect? Maybe...operative word effect. The thing is...I literally feel energy change in your body's feedback to my hands when using these techniques. There is a pulse in the energy field and it will often change when encouraged to do so. I fully understand resistance to energy work...its something we are not well tuned into on a regular basis. I do find a spiritual connection to body work/massage therapy and I often pray for my clients and my abilities to help facilitate healing. I do not claim any "powers".I pray to the God of the Holy Bible and feel healing flows through his creation. If you want to hear what I'm praying or ask me to pray for something specific, I am open to that. Phew, okay, glad we covered that. Its a pretty vulnerable thing to lay out there. But, being honest and open about my heart toward this work, may facilitate greater healing...so, I just have to tell you about it.If you don't want to know about it during a session, No Problem,I'm guilty of being quite clinical and methodical.

Massage is a dual career for me.
Being an entrepreneur has opened up the door to pursue my passion for helping people heal and entertaining through voice acting and comedy. I host a comedy show called JoyBombComedy.com. Its clean stand up comedy (PG 14) most of the comedians are local. I voice audiobooks like the spoof of "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" called "Jonathan Segal Chicken", a Jewish Chicken who wants to fly. No, I don't have ADD or ADHD, mom had me tested, apparently. But I know what I love and make room for it all. Life is short, be good to yourself and others.
